The press talks about it:
.
For several years, the production 250 has not undergone major modifications.
This means that the engine, even if it is not part of the latest generation,
remains at the top in terms of performance and usability.
This 250 is indeed an excellent compromise between responsiveness and docility.
The subframe is particularly robust and transmits grip to the rear wheel similar to that of a trials bike.
At the same time, however, as soon as current is required, these two strokes provide it with great fluidity and increasing consistency.
This results in very easy riding in enduro sections,
but also by sufficient aggression as soon as you want to try the stopwatch during a special test.
On the other hand, extension is not the best solution: in fact, at high speed,
the engine begins to blend without straining, which is symptomatic of the fact that it is time to move up to the next gear.
Working with long speeds, the problem does not arise with a replacement silencer with greater resonance,
the problem is easily solved.
The WR250 remains pretty much the same as last year. We find the new 2009 livery,
the new digital dashboard and, from a technical point of view,
the adoption of the 38 mm Mikuni TMX carburetor.
The WR300 is the faithful replica of the E3 winning bike with the transalpine Guillaume.
The bike looks like the 250, although its bore is larger (72 mm versus 66),
which brings the displacement to the threshold of 293 cm3.
We will see that these 40 cubic centimeters radically change the character of this large mono duo.
