The RENAULT TRAFIC COMBI L2 dCi 145 Energy is a 4-door Diesel MPV. This version
6-speed manual transmission, released in 2016, has 8 seats. Its 4-cylinder engine develops 145 hp,
consumes 5.9 l/100 km in the combined cycle and emits 152g of Co2 per km. 0 to 100km/h is achieved in 11.1s and
its maximum speed is 177 km/h. The RENAULT TRAFIC COMBI L2 dCi 145 Energy measures 5,399 mm on
a width of 1,956 mm. Its tank is 80 liters and its empty weight is 1923 kg.
This new model will be produced in the Sandouville factory (76) in the Seine-Maritime department where
Renault has invested 230 million euros in the transformation of its assembly site, good news
since production was until then carried out in Spain and the United Kingdom. The Opel Vivaro will also be there
assembled but only for the H2 version, the others remaining manufactured in England
To begin with, the first thing that jumps out at you is this imposing grille, incorporating the latest stylistic features
from the constructor to the diamond. The rear side is less changing compared to the previous one
generation.
To gain in habitability but also in loading volume, this new Trafic gains 11 cm in length,
which makes it the largest utility vehicle in its category with its now 4.99m long compared to 4.97m for the
Ford Transit Custom and 4.89m for the Volkswagen Transporter, the largest in the category so far.
The main changes are inside. Whether under the hood, in the loading area or in the new cabin, Renault has thought of everything to make life easier for professionals.
The cabin is the example par excellence, designed as a real mobile office, it will allow delivery people,
craftsmen and drivers to carry out their work in optimal conditions. In addition to improving the position
driving thanks to a height-adjustable seat and a height- and depth-adjustable steering wheel which come
remind us of the sensation of driving a minivan, the new Trafic Grand Confort adopts several
equipment that could quickly become essential. The cabin of our trial version offers, for example,
a folding front bench seat that transforms into a real office and can accommodate a computer
laptop hidden in the backrest as well as a tablet for various delivery notes or other
essential documents for drivers. New supports for smartphones or mobile tablets are
also their appearance with their different compatible connectors (USB, Jack) and of course
Bluetooth for hands-free calling.
