Kioti pairs this engine with a two-range hydrostatic transmission controlled by a foot pedal.
Although it's not our favorite setup,
The CK20S pedal provides well modulated control over the forward speed range and reverse speed range.
Kioti also saw fit to position the split brakes further to the right on this model,
which allows the operator to slide their toe off the top of the pedal while moving
forward and lifting to reverse.
Our testers prefer this method for controlling a pedal system,
but if you are so inclined, just lift your foot and use your heel
to press the opposite side of the pedal.

Maintenance on the CS20S has been clearly integrated.
The transmission filter can be changed from the operator platform and
the engine filter can be changed without lifting the hood,
entirely made of metal, as are the wings and the operator's hood.
The fuel filter is accessible from the rear of the tractor,
but the injectors don't empty automatically so you don't want to let the CK20S run out of fuel.
With this in mind, Kioti equips the CK20S with a 20 liter fuel tank mounted just behind the rear seat,
what one of our testers thought was an afterthought,
although he admitted that the tank fill was quite high.
