The web talks about it:

.

The quad market has certainly experienced ups and downs in recent years, particularly in the sector
leisure where sales of sport quads peaked towards the end of 2007.
Mountain bikes were still affordable at the time and quickly turned into a craze,
rightly so. Quad biking is an adventurous activity and the whole family can enjoy it.
Unfortunately, the hype has waned over time and the popularity has waned somewhat.

Utility quads, however, maintained a strong presence. Their targeted and functional design
guarantees their suitability for a work environment, without neglecting leisure activities,
especially if the chosen riding terrain requires a little more ability.
Utility quads make perfect, cost-effective workhorses and excel
in the agricultural and mining industries, to name a few.

The SYM brand is famous for its scooter and commuter variants, also intended for applications
specific. It is therefore not surprising that SYM realized the potential of utility quads and
therefore also offers the Mighty QuadRaider in its range.

The SYM QuadRaider is powered by a water-cooled, single-stroke,
565cc 4-stroke, which whispers effortlessly. The engine tone is somewhat subdued,
not disturbing the peaceful setting of the land it serves. With a maximum torque of 34.53 Nm
reached at 3,000 rpm, there is no need to push too hard to put this worker
competent at the task. The fuel supply system is notably carburettor,
which is positive regarding self-maintenance in the field.
The QuadRaider is fully automatic and offers low and high range suitable for a variety of terrain.
It also has reverse and switchable 2X4/4X4 at the press of a button.

As expected, the SYM QuadRaider combines all the features available on other utility quads.
These include, front and rear luggage racks, tow bar mounting,
correct size wheels and more than sufficient ground clearance. An advantage is that the generous
Seating allocation leaves enough room for two people.

I had the pleasure of driving the Quad in what turned out to be the ideal location,
a cattle farm just outside Dundee, KZN. The farm offered
a multitude of different riding grounds. Quads are the preferred means of transport for
most farmers in the region. It was amazing how easily the QuadRaider
reached what many would consider inaccessible areas.
The low range 4X4 option easily handles slopes and obstacles,
while the 2X4 option of the high range allows pleasant navigation in open areas,
reaching 80 km/h at full incline. The suspension is well sorted and opulent,
which guarantees a comfortable ride, even in undulating parts.
The brakes are very responsive and encourage confidence through stability,
I made some very steep descents trying to take the SYM and myself out of our comfort zone,
but I felt like it wouldn't bother me
