With asymmetry in one hand and generally quirky behavior in the other, the 2013 Nissan Cube challenges
the boundaries of what is considered attractive and fashionable - a decision that will truly be left up to
every customer.

Just as you start to compare the cube to a small bread van, you will probably see where
the real weirdness comes in. For starters, it's not symmetrical, a hinged rear hatch
side panels opens on the left side, breaking a rear window line that curves uninterrupted
and continues around the right rear corner of the vehicle, and up the side to the pillar between the front doors
and rear. And the framed windows have a bevel designed into the sheet metal, with the central side pillar
tapered to accentuate this effect.

With its headlights spread apart, accentuating a difficult stance, combined with a rounded muzzle and lines
horizontals widening the grille opening, the Cube was designed for a so-called look
“Bulldog in Sunglasses” – which, we agree, might take some squinting to imagine.
But the Cube stays true to its name, with nearly vertical sides and rear styling that's just about
Near as straight as possible, the cube makes a lot of a small space.

And the Cube is good value, especially considering the value of having something that is
really different and original, but also well equipped. Prices are however a little higher for 2013,
With the base model discontinued, there are now only S and SL versions of the Cube - and if you want
a manual transmission, you're stuck with the S, as the top SL is only offered with a CVT.
The S includes many popular features, but step up to the SL and you get control
automatic climate control, alloy wheels, intelligent key system, connectivity
Bluetooth and an upgraded audio system that includes iPod connectivity.
