The web talks about it:
.
First released in 2005, the Ssangyong Kyron is, like the rest of the manufacturer's range,
a basic but practical SUV, more affordable than many of its competitors.
In terms of styling, it's likely to divide drivers with its MPV-esque styling and long silhouette.
A 2.0-liter common-rail turbodiesel produces 141 hp and powers the Kyron with good traction
down, although the engine noise can sometimes be annoying. Well equipped and spacious inside,
it's a good mix of affordability, capacity and space, and is arguably better
than his badge might suggest.
Interior space is always a practical consideration in a lifestyle vehicle and the Kyron
has certainly had enough.
Passengers sitting in the rear seats could perhaps have a little more legroom,
but it's the 625 liters of storage space in the rear that really wins the day.
The plastics on the dashboards and interior appear to be constructed from premium materials.
high quality and the details are quite impressive.
For the price it's also well made.
Even base models have locally installed air conditioning, CD and power windows,
while higher specification models add air conditioning and a leather interior.
Other features: dual front airbags, front seat belt pretensioners, anti-lock brakes,
disc brakes, fog lights, three-point rear center seat belt, alloys
18-inch, leather steering wheel, steering wheel audio controls, two 12-volt power outlets,
electric folding mirrors, 60/40 folding rear seat, cruise control and windows
and electric mirrors.
Manual models offer a five-speed gearbox, but there is also a gearbox
Five-speed T-Tronic automatic, supplied by Mercedes, with manual override.
One holdover from its left-hand drive design is the handbrake that extends across the center arm.
Despite the fact that my height is a challenge, I am happy to report that, despite its positioning,
it is not difficult to reach it.
Overall, the interior impresses with a sense of quality and construction integrity that
hides its relatively low price.
